Our Natural Leather

Our premium-quality leather labels are crafted from 100 % genuine leather, sourced as a byproduct of the food industry and tanned using environmentally responsible mineral tanning in Germany. We use the entire hide of German young bulls, ensuring minimal waste and maximum sustainability. Due to natural variations in color, thickness, and fat content across different sections of the hide, each tag may have slight differences — adding to the unique charm of an authentic leather product.

With a thickness of approximately 1.2 mm, these labels provide a luxurious finishing touch to non-washable products. To maintain their beauty and longevity, we recommend using only leather conditioner for care.

Each label is laser-cut for precise shapes, holes, and cutouts, while designs and text are deeply engraved. The heat from the engraving process may create slight burn marks along the edges, giving the labels a rustic, handcrafted look. Need a washable alternative? Consider faux leather or FloraPap labels, which maintain their appearance even after repeated washing.

Our natural leather is certified by the Bremen Environmental Institute according to OEKO-TEX^® standard 100 and meets the specifications of Product Class I, making it safe for baby and children’s products. More details about our certifications can be found here.

Leather screws, also known as screw rivets, provide a high-end way to fasten your leather labels without stitching. Important: To use screw rivets, select a hole size of approximately 4 mm ("large" option) in the configurator for a perfect fit.
