Pro Tip for Foldable Labels: Create your faux leather labels with a 4 mm hole on each side. Simply fold the label around the edge of textiles or knitted items and secure it with a screw rivet, available in our accessories section.

Our Faux Leather

Made from 100 % polyurethane, our high-quality faux leather is guaranteed to be free from harmful substances. At approximately 1 mm thick, it has a soft texture and an authentic leather-like appearance. The brown and gray variations have a black backing, while other colors have a light-colored back.

These personalized leatherette labels are abrasion-resistant and machine-washable up to 60° C. However, frequent washing may cause the engraving to fade over time. To maintain the best quality, avoid using aggressive detergents — especially modern two-component liquid detergents, which can damage the surface. Each tag is laser-cut to achieve precise edges, and designs are engraved with clean detailing. Due to the laser process, slight burn marks may appear on the edges and engraved areas, adding to the label’s unique character.

Individual Attachment

For machine sewing, a universal needle usually works well for attaching faux leather labels. If your sewing machine has trouble feeding the material, try lowering the thread tension, placing baking paper between the label and the presser foot, or using masking tape to improve traction.

Once you’ve found the right settings for your machine, attaching the label is quick and easy. Alternatively, you can sew it on by hand for a more personalized touch. Select the number and size of holes you need directly in the configurator.
