Our Natural Leather

Our natural leather is a high-quality, eco-friendly material sourced from German young bulls as a byproduct of the food industry. Tanned using an ecological mineral tanning process, this leather is entirely produced in Germany. The entire hide is used, resulting in natural variations in color, thickness, and fat content across different sections, making each piece truly one of a kind.

Our leather hangtags have a thickness of approximately 1.2 mm and should not be washed. To maintain their quality, use only leather conditioning products such as leather grease. The laser-cutting process defines the shape, holes, and cut-outs, while the engraving process adds sharp detailing. Due to the heat application, slight burn marks may appear, giving each tag a rustic character.

Our natural leather meets OEKO-TEX^® standard 100 requirements, as certified by the Bremen Environmental Institute. It complies with Product Class I specifications, ensuring it is safe for babies and young children. More details on our certificates can be found here.
